"con·sump·tion: a progressive wasting away of the body especially from pulmonary tuberculosis” Humans consume. It is what we do. Rarely do we consider the effects of our consumption: waste. We make mountains of it, and don’t take responsibility for it. We waste resources. We waste energy. Our waste piles up. Our waste spreads. We’re wasting opportunities. We’re wasting time. And tragically, our planet is wasting away. Our planet, our natural resources, our health, our prosperity, our morality, we are wasting it all… for want of things. This ongoing photographic project is what the waste all around me looks like. I will add new posts, and update this gallery as new images are created. Sadly, subject material is limitless.
